Business Communication Skills Workshop
 
This workshop is of benefit to people in all functions including sales, accounting, administration, engineering, IT, marketing and public relations. The workshop provides participants with the opportunity to significantly improve their confidence when speaking and expressing their ideas to an audience. In addition they will improve their effectiveness in English business language. They will also learn communication techniques that are valuable to have in whatever language they use for business.
At the end of the workshop the participants will:
  • have greater confidence when speaking to clients, suppliers or colleagues
  • make more effective contributions to meetings
  • know how to use skills and techniques that help them communicate clearly and concisely in different business situations
  • have the skills to make more effective and interesting presentations to clients and colleagues
  • know how to organise their thoughts to be more productive
  • speak with improved fluency in English and Portuguese

The participants experience a variety of business situations, including presenting information, dealing with clients, interviewing, selling, negotiating, public speaking and participating in meetings. The situations are designed to develop their business and personal skills. The participants practice techniques to manage each situation, and they are then able to use those skills in their daily business life.
This workshop is run in English. At the end of the workshop the participants will be more confident when expressing themselves in English and Portuguese. They will know how to communicate more effectively, and will have acquired critical business skills necessary for the global business environment.

Participants receive a certificate and documentation describing the ideas and techniques developed in the workshop.
