ISEG MBA 36th edition's students participated in an one-to-one session with some of the top recruitment companies from Portugal, such as Randstad Portugal, Argo Talents, Michael Page and Stanton Chase Portugal.
The session was designed to enable the students to speak with one representative of each invited recruiter and get the tools and information to improve their presentations or interviews with potential employers, to understand what are the most valued tools for recruiters or just to know the current employment market.
Just like in a speed dating event, students had the opportunity to speak to each recruitment consultant, switching to the next one every 10 minutes. In these 10 minutes, they talked with recruiters about employment market, career progression, most valued skills for companies, among other topics.
According to Mário Almeida, an ISEG MBA 36th edition's student, this “was an amazing experience and an excellent example of ISEG MBA in terms of adaptability towards the digital era”. “We had the great pleasure to meet experienced recruiters from the most important recruitment companies in Portugal in a safe environment to ask for advices and discuss our professional path”, adds the student.
Regarding the added value this iniciative is contribuiting for students future, Mário states that “this was a great opportunity to get important insights for our career development, not only in terms of CV structure and how to improve my interviews as candidate, but also in terms of career path development and the new opportunities and challenges that arise from digitalization era.”
