ISEG – Lisbon School of Economics and Management integrates for the first time in 2022 the Financial Times European Business Schools ranking, entering directly to 65º position among the 95 schools listed. Out of the schools that made their debut in this ranking, ISEG was the one with the higher position.
ISEG stands out especially for its classification in the Executive MBA ranking, in which the ISEG MBA obtained the 62nd position at European level, and in the Executive Education rankings, in which both the open programs and the customized programs of ISEG Executive Education entered directly into the Top 35 at European level.
This ranking lists the best European Business Schools. The Financial Times ranking of the best European Business Schools lists a total of 95 higher education institutions based on the global scores that each school obtained in each ranking of programs in which it participates, namely in the ranking of MBA, Executive Education, Masters in Management and Executive MBA. Portugal is in the top 3 of the best represented European countries in this ranking, surpassed only by France and the United Kingdom. This result reflects a growing investment in the training of managers in Portugal, which will be a decisive factor for the competitiveness of the Portuguese economy.
For João Duque, the Dean of ISEG, “After ISEG’s debut in the Executive Education ranking and the consolidation of the position of the Masters in Finance in the ranking for Masters in Finance, this entry to the ranking of Business Schools in Europe is excellent news which confirms the remarkable journey that ISEG has been making in terms of the quality and internationalisation of teaching and research.
“At the beginning of my current term as Dean, the legacy of ISEG’s growing international reputation confers on me an added responsibility. We are committed to consolidating the effort that the School has made to offer the best education for students, based on a culture of innovation and excellence and on the internationalisation of both the Masters and Executive Training, with the aim to ensure that we attract the best students, in Portugal and in the whole world”.
It should be noted that this is ISEG’s 3rd entry in the FT Rankings in 2022. Further information about the Financial Times ranking here.
